I have known Erika Kelley for a decade. She is an excellent trainer and facilitator and mentor to women, particularly those from vulnerable backgrounds. For the past few years, I have contracted with Erika to lead a workshop for my Literacy in Early Childhood Education teacher candidate class. Erika created a learning space to write, share and discuss connections to early childhood literacy and curriculum/standards, mindfulness (SEL), and mental health/wellness. She inspires us to integrate poetry in our classrooms and helps us see other perspectives with an open-mind and warm heart.
